Community Care Hospice, an affiliate of Community Visiting Nurse Association, is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of the Superior Performer Award for Customer Satisfaction from Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP). SHP is a national leader in performance improvement for post acute care providers and has helped organizations nationwide raise the bar on healthcare performance.
The award placed Community Care Hospice in the top 20% Nationally in Customer Satisfaction based on the Hospice Survey conducted by Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS). Mandated by Medicare, the CAHPS survey asks consumers and patients to report on and evaluate their experiences with Hospice care. The survey covers topics that are important to consumers and focuses on aspects of quality that consumers are best qualified to assess, such as the communication skills of providers and ease of access to health care services.
“We are deeply touched and honored to receive such a special award recognizing the exceptional care given by our Hospice team. Patient satisfaction, making sure both patients and caregivers have a positive, supportive experience, is amongst our highest priorities,” stated Alyce Brophy, President/CEO, Community VNA.
