CVNA CEO Brophy Wins Prestigious Award
Alyce Brophy, President/CEO of Community Visiting Nurse Association, has received her third Carol J. Kientz award from the New Jersey Home Care and Hospice Association.  The award is given at the Home Care and Hospice Association’s Annual Conference in Atlantic City, NJ, in June and is presented to a member who has gone “above and beyond” the benchmark of involvement in, and commitment to, the Home Care and Hospice Association of NJ and its work to serve as the catalyst for excellence in home care and hospice in New Jersey.  

Serving as the Chairman of the Board of the New Jersey Home Care and Hospice Association for the last two years, Ms. Brophy‘s work with the association has impacted all of New Jersey.  She has served on the Home Care and Hospice Association's Executive Committee and Government Affairs Committee.  Ms. Brophy has led the association impacting federal and state legislation for New Jersey Home Care and Hospice providers and has worked tirelessly to promote the goals of the Home Care and Hospice Association of NJ.  

Ms. Brophy has devoted over 30 years of her career to promoting the health of individuals and the community.  As the President/CEO of Community Visiting Nurse Association for the past 17 years, she has led the organization to continued growth and quality achievements, providing exemplary care to individuals in Somerset, Middlesex and Warren counties and guiding the organization to earn 4 ½ stars in the Medicare Star Ratings program. 

Community Visiting Nurse Association and its Affiliates, Community VNA, Community Home Care and Community Care Hospice, are non-profit home health and hospice providers serving Middlesex and Somerset Counties since 1948 and Warren County since 2014.  They are licensed by the State of New Jersey, certified by Medicare and Medicaid and accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). Community VNA provides home health care, hospice care and community care services.
