Community Care Hospice, a division of Community Visiting Nurse Association (CVNA), will conduct a bereavement support group for adults this spring. Meetings will take place at community VNA at 110 West End Avenue, Somerville.
Entitled “A Journey Toward a New Day”, the support group will consist of six weekly sessions for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one in the last year. Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences, difficulties and strengths in a caring, compassionate and confidential atmoshere as they work toward a “new day” of hope and healing. Facilitators are Angelina Calogero, Volunteer/Bereavement Coordinator, and Reverend Frank Vallerius, Hospice Chaplain.
The sessions, will be offered on Monday evenings, 7pm to 8:30pm beginning on April 7th and continuing through May 12. There is no fee for this program, but registration is required. Contact Angelina Calogero at 908-725-9355, ext.2130.
