PHYSICAL THERAPIST INSTRUCTING MALE CLIENT ON USE OF WALKERPhysical Therapy

A licensed Physical Therapist will do a thorough assessment of your strength, mobility and present functional level. The therapist will talk with you and your physician and make a plan of care to help you become as independent as possible. Your therapist will set up a schedule of regular therapy visits, as well as a home exercise program for you to follow between visits.

Occupational Therapy

In conjunction with Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology, a Licensed Occupational Therapist can provide an evaluation of your functional status and work with you and your physician to plan your care to meet your goals of independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).

A licensed Speech Language Pathologist, working under the direction of your physician, will provide a complete assessment of your needs and work with you to meet your goals for improvement in communication and/or speech, swallowing and language difficulties following cognitive impairment (such as a stroke) or surgery that affects swallowing and/or speech.
